ARTIST STATEMENT
If, after looking at my work, one becomes curious, sees beauty or feels wonder, my purpose as an artist will have been realized.
There is an “other energy” living within a coil of aluminum: how it exerts its own tensile strength. The same energy exists in the artist as dynamic creativity. My goal is to define and expand that energy harmoniously as I paint or use other media, always allowing chance to put skin in the game.
